According to Dept. of Tourism (DOT), each visiting tourist spends at least US $100 per day besides the accommodation itself. The goal is therefore to make them spend as much as possible of this within the resort’s facilities.
Therefore complete packets and several options must be offered,eg:Islands hopping, snorkeling, dive trips, whale shark watching, dolphin watching, fishing, jet ski, cave exploration, tracking, bicycling, land transport service to other nearby places, etc. ......
Which this Resort does.
With an average occupancy rate at 70% (or 10 occupied rooms) - will provide US $500 per day. Breakfast for 2 persons per room included.
A minimum of 2 additional hot, 10 dollars meals per day for 20 people provides additional US $400.(A very low estimate - many do order really expensive lobster meals and imported steaks from Australia and USA - which are provided.
Plus good imported wines/liquor. The average guest does spend approx US $20 per 24 hours on drinks too - from mini bars in the rooms, at the restaurant and from the Beach Bar. Which provides a minimum additional US $400 in daily income.
